Here is some of my work carry. Leatherman sidekick, 6" ruler with metric and imperial measurements, pen in this case from hilti, and my g shock all sitting on one of my headsox.
The tanto blade design has never appealed to me either. On an aesthetic level it always appears more chisel than knife if that makes any sense. My top 3: 1) Drop point-because it represents a traditional knife shape to me 2) Spear point-because I love my Battle Horse Knives and the practicallity of this style bushcraft blade 3) Clip point-simply because it reminds me of my grandpa and his small little Case knife that he carried
Musing (pre-dawn on a Saturday morning) -- one of my rituals, treats, vices or whatever you want to call it is a couple of fingers of Baileys in my coffee on weekend mornings.
I agree wholeheartedly, to the point that my favorite blade shapes are in that same order! Drop and spear point blades are by far what I've used the most since childhood.
Anybody else think Gary's got too much stuff..... He's like the top 1% the Dems are always railing about, just in EDC assets
I was just blown away the man's got a freaking leather coozie......never saw or contemplated a leather coozie but need one now lol!
Southern Grind originally gave away the leather key chains, leather coozies, and a paracord bracelet when you bought a Bad Monkey. Think I got 3 sets when I bought the first 3 BMs from Whitty. 2 sets used & wore out now, this is my last good set but you can still order them on their website, pretty cool for when you want to stick a coozie in your pocket. Coozie is lined with neoprene.
SUNDAY/MONDAY 10/30-31/2016 EDC - Not very imaginative for a Halloween but spent yesterday moving furniture on top of 4 hours driving, now tired & wore out, so no change for 2 days. HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!!!!
Still carrying my first and still my favorite Bad Monkey. This one has seen more pocket time than anything I own over the last 3 years and Bad Monkey Week reminded me why, what a phenomenal knife in my opinion! This little SAK got some serious use yesterday, particularly the screwdriver, love having a custom SAK in my pocket!
