(Spoiler alert: I've changed my mind--these things are awesome).

I didn't get to go to ICAST this year. There's only so many trade shows I can get to each year and right now I'm stuck going to the crappy ones (SHOT and Blade) until I can get a real job.

So I missed the Yeti booth with the new awesome buckets. I can't wait to get mine. I have a Seafoam on order. As you can tell from the video guy, they are at an affordable price point at $39.99. Which, is actually less than $40.00

What I really want is that Yeti badge holder that cat's sporting. I'd pay $100 for that for when I do have to go to the low rent trade shows.

Yeah. The question is what is the size of 5 gallons and weighs 300 lbs?

Assume you arent trying to balance a 12 foot steel beam standing straight up out of the bucket, is there a substance that would weigh 300 lbs and be 5 gallons?

    im off to google....

    ...back from google

5 gallons of gold would weigh 800 lbs.

Im going to need to reinforce my bucket with 2 other buckets.

You see, gold is dense. Which means even a small portion is heavy.

If I had 800 lbs. of gold I'll be darned if I'd buy a bucket to carry it around in.

Now if I had a really dense cousin I just might put him in a bucket but I don't think I would use a 40 dollar bucket.

The most exciting part is, the lid will only cost you $20-40. I've always wanted an internal organizer for my 5 gal buckets too. This is awesome stuff.

We have obviously missed the mark on this bucket economy. Appears that expensive buckets are the hottest new thing on the market.
