Depends on what you have, the condition it is in and what you want for it. I'll spend upwards to the cost of new, but around the cost of new I'll support the company directly
Mark is a great guy. I’ll see if I have any extra green or coyote in my bin. I think I’m down to a saw pouch in both and a scout in coyote. If not supporting him directly is a great plan!
For sure. I looked around at options, but kept coming back the the CLS carrier for what I want it to do. Being USA made is a plus so I have zero problems buying new. If I had a relationship with the company, I would of already ordered one. But I do know gear gets bought and sits on a shelf, I am guilty of this myself, so if anyone has a fair price on one that isn't too banged up I am giving it a shot to keep the materials from wasting away. Ordering one real soon if nothing comes out of this. Really would like green, but have a lead on another forum for a coyote brown that I may trade for.
What kind of bottle/canteen are you looking to put in it? I have a Scout bottle carrier that I ordered from Mark as a custom order a few months ago.
Either/or. Was looking to dock it onto a belt and remove when I want to bounce around with just the shoulder sling. I figured the MCC would give more pocket space since it will take up one entire side of a belt. I have both canteens and 40oz Klean bottles. Would the Scout hold the Klean bottle plus a nested cup?
This is a load out I did with it a few months ago. That's a 40oz klean with a Pathfinder cup. I have an Emerson dump pouch on the side of it as well but I only use it for foraging and tinder gathering. None of these items were inside that dump pouch.
Yeah the MCC and the scout will carry what your looking for. Big supporter of him and him as a businessman. Awesome gear that will not crap out or fail you. The mother will also hold Nalgenes (the big ones) nesting cups like what you have. Lots of space. I was using a nalgene with 750ml nesting cup before getting the heavy cover canteen. My wife uses her scout carrier everyday with her bottles and gear.
I've got 4 different MCCs for different uses, seasons, vehicle kit with the gear roll. All of his materials are US made besides the alpine buckles. Not the cheap chinese cordura. His stuff is vetted and legit.
No doubt. I'll have my own soon to check out. Some other guy flaked out on a trade on another forum, just stopped communicating, so I went ahead and ordered some stuff. I got a MCC, gear roll, saw pouch etc in process. Hopefully I'll get it in time for the Fall.
