Hey everyone, wanted to post some pics and a little info on this new model, the B.U.S.H. Knife (Bushcraft Utility Survival Hollow Handle). This is based on a Kephart style blade, with a 4.125" long blade of 1/8" thick 1095. Will probably offer AEBL and the option of 3/16" thick, if the interest is there.

One of the fun features on this model is the fully sculpted guard, much like you would find on a "traditional" hidden tang knife. This model also features my "Ranger" style handle, with a taper leading up to the guard and slots milled in for traction and indexing the knife.

The standard setup on these will be the OD GunKote finish, and cord wrap color of your choice. Kydex is available in black, OD green, and camo. This one has the optional ferro rod and attachment loop on the sheath, with the handle being GunKoted to match the knife.

This one comes standard with the compass in the buttcap, and lanyard. I look forward to any feedback. Thanks for looking.

Awesome looking knife! But the sheath - it must be one of the best looking kydex sheaths I've ever seen.

Tell me, Sam, from what liquor is that cork cap :D

Awesome looking setup. Rough ballpark for one of these?

    Bourbon cork.:D

Thanks for the compliments. The base price for knife and kydex sheath on these is $425. The ferro rod and holder adds $40. I haven't made one yet, but the 3/16" version will add a few bucks. Let me know if you have any other questions, and thanks for the feedback, fellas.:)

Here is a B.U.S.H. Knife recently completed (Bushcraft Utility Survival Hollow/Handle). This one had a 4.125" blade of 440C stainless, although I will be moving this model to CPM154 in the future, just to keep it consistent with the rest of my line, along with the occasional carbon steel model, as plenty of folks still want carbon for bushcrafting.

These have an 1/8" to 5/32" thick blade hollow ground on a larger wheel for cutting aggression and are ground to slice. The sculpted guard removes any hotspots and makes the knife very comfortable to use and index in the hand. There is a compass in the buttcap for emergency navigation. The Wilson Gray GunKote is an exclusive custom color that hides wear well and adds further corrosion resistance. The kydex sheath is a pattern selected by the client, and he had a matching PSK knife made and GunKoted to match the primary knife. A very nice set, in my opinion, and one that is ready to work in the outdoors.
