And who can bring a half-ton of sand for the Expat Experience booth?

Some other things we might need:

    --a blender
--several Yeti Tanks full of ice
--a wooden target board to throw knives at
    --lots of beach chairs
    --charcoal briquets

I'll have the Lodge Sportsman's grill so don't worry about that. Bring your own cup since I don't think I'll have the Expat Knives enamel campfire mugs out yet.

One half ton of sand by volume is approximately .40 cubic yards, e.g. large ash tray or kitty litter box.

You need to go big or you need to just stay home.

I'm not getting that math. I've got 60 lb GORUCK sandbags that are that big and don't weigh 1000 lbs.

Or, maybe I can just carry 1,000 lbs of sand? Now that I think about it, I can carry 1,000 lbs of sand.

Just bring enough sand for everyone. And one of those little blow-up pools.

I like to think you were and I'm just super strong.

But seriously, are you coming to SHOT. Bring the beach ball, too.

Many years ago I was at a biker rally tucked away in a no amenities campground hidden in the North Georgia mountains. A very non biker, brother in law of one of the members shows up with a truck load of ice, tequila, rum and two 12 volt blenders. By far the most popular man with the women that weekend, it was a sight to behold. He may or may not have gotten stabbed that night but good times were had by all.

Great now I'm imagining showing up at shot and having Expat stab me. Probably using one of those cheap ass Gary Busse knives he is always talking about.

Couldn't stand seeing the ugly ass SOB so I took the pic down.

Do you think all the crap I've bought and sold on here would qualify me for vendor status?

If you are going to get stabbed, you want it to be a Busse. There's no verifiable evidence that they can cut anything. It might not even penetrate skin. There sole purpose, as far as I can determine, is to wear it around for others to see so they know you have a Busse. (This, of course, requires you spend extra money on a sheath because the company can't be bothered with such trivial accessories)

Still kicking around going! I'd opt for purchasing sand locally, no wait rent a truck a few shovels, and promise a few dudes free swag, truck load of sand on the way!

That's the kind of can-do spirit we're looking for!

You are the CSO Chief Sand Officer of Expat Knives.
