    Yes, plenty of lead in abandoned care batteries...and sailboat keels.

    (The latter source hints that I have always been to lazy and cowardly to engage in piracy yet age , disillusionment and hunger might tip the scale.)

    I’m partially ready. Never been shot...yet.

    A friend gave it to me when he retired. I believe it was a kit he built.
    Some of the kits for rifle are CNC machined and pretty easy. I have ordered one.
    Some of the older ones consisted of wood not suitable for landscaping and four pounds of rebar.
