Over breakfast yesterday, I learned that Cash was a radio intercept operator in the military. He would listen to the Russian military sending messages via Morse code and translate them -- at speeds of over 35 words per minute! Listening to messages that fast is bad enough, but doing it in a foreign language to boot?
