Morning hike with my Frost Copperhead slip-joint pocket knife. Sometimes it is just fun to go old-school!

Love the old classics.

Heading out to hike AZ’s tallest point tomorrow. Gonna be a cold but good hike.
Dont over pack or anything.
Haha! No worries, that’s just the pockets. All my other items are in the HPG Tara. It’s gonna be wicked
Recently picked up a 3HM and fell in love with the handle, it fills my xl hand like it was made for me. That's my new EDC.
Interestingly I find I appreciate the 4-3d handle more now than I did before I got the HM. While not a full 4 finger grip (unless using the choil), the thinner profile and stepped-down transition area also appeal to me. I'm thinking of slightly thinning the transition on the Hm. Anyone else done this?
How did it turn out? I was talking about you in the car as we passed with it in view.
It was good! Hike went well. 30-40 mile an hour gusts above the tree line was exciting. Ran into a friend I hadn’t seen in a while around 11,600 ft. So that was pretty cool. All in all, fun time.
Where were ya headed? Somewhere in Flag?
We were coming back from a few days in Sedona. I've forgotten how boring I40 is from AZ to Barstow. Only 100 something miles but pure crap. Meeting a friend at 11,000++ is cool. You obviously got friends in high places.
Batoned a buncha wood all week every morning to start the fires and this thing just ripped right through everyhing. Also pried out multiple staples and folded nails . Still sharp and ready to work
@mwramos76 almost time for an etch and strip !
I gave mine an 8 hour etch already. Not sure if I’m going to strip it.
Not in the pocket, but on the table: Izula stainless with TKC scales, SAK Locksmith, BK14 w/ TKC extended scales.
Various Leatherman tools in EDC bags nearby.
"The same thing we do everyday Pinkie, try to take over the world!" With Esee 3HM in the pocket.
