Do these things have a tendency to multiply? :D

Two 3D 6 is the way to go! One to beat the hell out of and one in pristine condition for weddings :D When I get all the ones I want, I will definitely get a second 6, it's a magic blade.

Thanks! I wasn’t sure what I’d think of it when looking at it online, but once it arrived I loved it.

    Family photo with better lighting.....

    It’s true lol.

I haven’t had the opportunity to do any serious work with them yet, but I’m impressed with the way they feel in hand. Thus, they’ve multiplied.

My first ESEE. The next one will be an Imlay, for work, where I get wet daily.

And I will be buying a few this year as gifts.

This is my first attempt at horizonal carry.

I will see if it can be comfy?

I am waiting for a spare sheath for my Izula 2 to try similar horizontal setup.

    Yes it is.

    I have 5 or 6 of them.

I carry that with me to work, and have 3 backups in my backpack. It's easier and quicker than changing batteries in the night.

They were all provided for by the company.

I have been a flashlight aficionado for the last 40+ years. This has been the best one yet.

    Super reliable.

God forbid the day I get caught without a great knife and flashlight on my person.

We have 7 million gallons of water outside, and another 3 million gallons inside our facility. So I want the ESEE Imlay rescue next, so I need not worry about rusting up a blade.

I think it with perfect to have at work, and it's non threatening, for the HR people :)

I have uh... a few. I was taught growing up you can't have to many flashlights, knives, or things that go bang. I live by that still. The protac is always on me. It's a great blend of lumen vs power consumption in a small package. I have retired from river work but I used to build barges and boats. Worked midnights and a reliable light and knife was a life saver. If you were caught up in a rope or dark it was never good.
Sorry to get off topic a bit! Let us know how the horizontal carry goes, I've thought about trying that a few times

I did like the horizonal carry this weekend. But the TekLok pressed against my spine in the truck and when sitting in chairs.

So I am trying out these straps. So far they are very comfy and rock solid on my belt.

I already had the the extra sheath.

    I absolutely love this ESEE.

FYI the scout straps are very comfy.

I was able to wear this all day and had little discomfort.

Just needed to be careful when entering my truck, as I can snag the handle when getting into my seat.

I will be using these regularly

I've had several ESEEs, but this 3 with the clip point and serrations is becoming a favorite. It came with the TKC scales when I picked it up used, but I swapped back to the original linen micarta. I mounted a pouch from Program J on the sheath to carry a bit of kit. The webbing on the pouch is sandwiched between the sheath and clip plate.
