    My 4. I own a lot of knive but only 2 ESEE's. Honestly I could sale most of what I have and live with the 4 and Izzy.

    I have the compact scales on my 4 and like them more than the original TKC scales. I like the length of the original TKC scales, but they felt a little blocky to me. The compact scales are shorter, but feel thicker and more rounded in the palmswell, so they feel more comfortable to me.

    Palm swell taper same top and bottom if thats what you mean. Haven't 'handled' TKC but dhunley's appear to have a little less taper running on aft of maximum swell - which MIGHT give slightly LESS grip to the swell. Main diff of course is G10 vs LMF Joe's Canvas Micartas. Y'er one or the other on that.
