I have bad luck with vehicles. I had a Toyota Sienna minivan back when the kids were small. Worst vehicle I ever had. All kinds of problems, a real lemon, couldn't wait to get rid of it. Said I would never buy another Toyota... oh well.
I offered the guy 5,000 for this FJ at Overland Expo and he wouldn't take it. Loved the rust color paint. This was one nice ride. Nicest at the whole show as far as I'm concerned.
No kidding. 70k original miles with the V10 like my F250 has. The guy just did inner and outer tie rods, all new brakes all around (including calipers), and those tires all within the last 2 months.
My helper gets paid more than $15/hr and that's cash. ETA: I'm not a backyard welder though. (Not saying you are). I went to school and have multiple certifications and yada yada blah blah. But you know what I mean, the guys at the junkyard welding with a generator and a 110V Harbor Freight "rig" make what they're worth, I make what I'm worth for what I bring to the table. I stick weld stainless for God's sake! LOL
