Husqvarna Hultafors Bruks general purpose axe. I sanded the handle and rubbed bees wax into it. I use it for kindling and removing branches mostly. It's a little larger than a Granfors small forest axe.

Just recently I bought a "Swedish military surplus new axe" from the SG and wondered what would show up at my door. I was extatic to end up with a Sater Banko that just needed some tlc.

    As received-

Cleaned up and rehung a little closer to the shoulder-

Thanks. I had it with me one of the times I went by the Fiddleback shop and Allen showed me how they do their rustic wrap knives, so with a little hemp rope and marine grade epoxy, viola, a very sturdy and grippy collar for the GB.

It's an old North Wayne Tool Co. combination axe and bush hook.

Not yet, but I have a carver coming in and I plan on getting one more that is currently in proto phase. Liam's work is amazing. His table at Blade show was one of my top 3. If anyone does Instragram, you need to follow him. He recently posted an 11' chef knife that will blow your mind.

Yes that knife is stunning, even my wife likes it! The axes look really nice too. Shame the Dollar is so strong against the pound right now!

Gorgeous collar! Sure does make it pop! I think you'll have a blast with that axe. They really bite deep for their weight.
