Ditto. The shipping times held me back before. Just ordered a soft side 20 and a couple new bottles to use as growlers.

My Yeti didn't stay open at first. I kept pushing it back more each time. It does now. It's like the plastic is really, really tight and takes a while to wear enough so that it will stay up.

My son was in a wedding this weekend, a true small town country wedding. The groomsman received a Coleman cooler and of course a couple of can "koozies" as they're know around here. He sarcastically referred to it as a "Yeti country cooler".

Keeps drinks cold until the ice melts. :D

@bax229 -- Sharp eye man. It is a shotgun shell. As David Allen Coe likes to say "if you ain't country, you ain't sh!t".

Here is a better pic of it.

These knuckleheads were shooting off tannerite in the morning while they got ready for the wedding.

This is where the wedding ceremony was held. The tractors were used as the backdrops for the wedding pictures.

And yes we sat on the hay bales for the ceremony.

I put in an order for a 64 oz growler, two 10 oz low balls and purchased a spill proof lid for each to put me just over the $35 mark during the sale. Shipment was received 3 days later. Can't beat the price and considering it took a month for my 32 oz tumblers to arrive when I ordered them this was awesome.

For all those looking to get a soft cooler I would strongly suggest an Ice Mule Pro. I purchased a 20 L version and added a Yeti Molle bottle opener and it is top notch. Held about 10 lbs of ice and 18-24 beers cold for over 24 hours. in my test, the ice had all melted by 20 hours, but the water was well below refrigerator temps after the 24 hour mark. Add backpack straps and a cushioned, ventilated back cushion at a price of $99 and this product is best in class IMO. http://www.icemulecooler.com/

Those look nice. I personally fumble with RTIC zipper and am constantly applying silicone lube. Always nice to have an alternative. Thanks @Southern Gent!

IMG_0441.JPG Sunday around 2pm I put 20lbs of ice and a cold 12 pack in. Probably 3 or 4 pounds left. I drained the melt water out to get a better look.

I hate these cooler threads. I solo want a bad@$$ cooler but have absolutely no reason to spend bunch of monty on one. I rarely use a cooler - the point I generally have to go to the barn to get one when I do need it. We do often use a soft-sided insulated bag to carry drinks and snacks on road trips but it is orange and has Power T logos so the wife would never let me replace it.

I had actually almost talked myself into spending part of a recent bonus award on a RTIC (never spend that much on a YETI) but keep hesitating because I can't recall the last time I loaded out a hard sided cooler. The last occasion I had to use one got squashed when Jeff (I never can remember his actual screen name) showed up at the house before a shotgun course we took last month and said, "Hey, you can put all your stuff in my YETI." :D
