While in the NC mountains this weekend I finally had a chance to zero the new .700 in with the Thompson suppressor. Chambered in .300 Blackout. With the Nikon glass and their dope charts, it was spot on from 50 out to 200. Of course with the sub rounds there's a helluva lot of drop between 50 and 200 but their dope chart and reticle make real quick work of shooting the round. Can't say enough good things about Thompson's cans. This is my third one from them. The ISIS22 can shown in the bottom photo is scary, scary quiet with sub rounds.

I admire a man who understands ballistics and uses a range card.

If it was anyone else, I would say the stock goes against the shoulder or is that an Oompa Loompa trying to shoot a rifle that is far too big?

Anyway, good to hear about the Thompsons. Are all of those dry cans?

The Thompson can be run dry or wet.

The cool thing about this scope is you go online and put in the ammo you're shooting, what range you want to zero at, and centerline distance between scope and barrel and it generates the dope sheet for you. I was skeptical the generated dope sheet would be accurate (there's not much I trust when it comes to consumer calculations) but it was spot on with suggested holdover at 200 after being zeroed at 50. At 50 the 220 grain remington rounds shot one ragged hole in a 3 shot group. I feel pretty confident that a coyote doesn't have a chance at any range I can shoot on the farm.

I have had nothing but good luck with my Nikons.

Well, if Canon made the same scope it'd be light years ahead of Nikon. ;)
