We’re going to give this YouTube thing a shot. We’d appreciate you guys subbing to our page. You’ll see longer more in depth instructional cooking on backpacking meals, campfire cooking, cast iron cooking and might even see a little BBQ.

...... you could soak him in some fresh water like we do with salted meat in the remote bush camps camps. You would however need to give him a really good wash down to clean the crud off before you started preparing him.

This sounds like a lot of work. If you want to bathe @Jeff Randall thats cool. I’m sure he could use one. I’ll cook when he’s clean.

......pressure washer and disinfectant, then bind his hands and feet and dump him in the tub to soak. give it a day or so to reduce the salt then hang, bleed and start cooking....not that I have given it any thought or anything...

@Jeff Randall has a healthy layer of unkempt Alabama grease that has kept him COVID free. Kind of a mixture of brominated vegetable oils and 1095 dust. He ain’t gonna cook very easily.

.......that's what I want to get off with the pressure wash before soaking him. May need a good soaping down (be the first time I would imagine he has been in contact with soap) before the wash. You may know it as "Hey Preston....don't forget to get him behind the ears..." :D
