Busted my hind end for a month (on and off due to weather extremes) painting nine HVAC fence enclosures by hand for Home Depot Canada .

started seeing paintbrushes and metal C channel fences in my dreams. Got heat sick a few times due to elevated roof temps , unrelenting sun and high UV index. Got sun burned bad a few times. Threw up a few times. Went thru an average of 10 to 20 litres of water daily , plus electrolytes drinks. Ate sport saltstick tabs daily .

it’s all done now. Contract completed. I got paid.

I would like to thank Brother @Twoody88 for the gig

    anyways, work hard play hard

I got a Caracjou Tactical LBE Alice webbing rig , plus two large sustainment pouches heading my way from Quebec Canada . Caracjou Tactical was started by a couple hardcore CDN Forces soldiers, who saw the need for better , lighter, tougher gear.

I already own one of their buttpacks - the quality , attention to detail, and modularity is off the charts .

My kids got me a Kershaw Outcome as an early father's day gift. $50 usually but sale for $25.

    upload_2024-6-26_11-16-52.png

Sweet little knife with assisted opening. The 8Cr13MoV steel seems ok, came sharp. Nice size as a "gentilemans" knife.

I still carry my SOCP type dagger for self defence and use the Kershaw for light use.

I like extreme organization in mg webbing rigs , like to be able to tell fellow hikers with me- grab the yellow pouch, or orange pouch etc.

Should be in my mitts in a week or less. Already reached out to local carbon fiber and titanium tube suppliers for a handle

Acturus Wool Blanket for the roof top tent.....

    https://arcturusgear.com/collection...ilitary-wool-blanket-charcoal-4-5-lbs-64-x-89

It arrived overnight here an I threw it on the bed. Seems well made, heavy and warm, real test will be a night out but that is a little away yet.

Also picked up an "Anti Condensation Mat" to go under the mattress in the tent. Could not get one the size I wanted for this so got another that is larger (and was on sale) so I can trim it down.
