why? your knife came with one already...if they gave out free replacements that cost adds up too and they'll eventually have to work it in the price...then people will complain about the price increase.

i think his clip broke, and it supposed to be covered by Spyderco warranty , and Spyderco SCREWED THE POOCH and stuck it to the customer.

I'd be pissed too....like seriously pissed. Its a .10 cent piece. Spyderco should be honoring their warranty and NOT GOUGING long time customers over a .10 cent piece of metal

its the little things like this that DRIVE AWAY CUSTOMERS.

Unless it's a recent change, Spyderco has never warrantied their pocket clips. And yeah, they break more than other clips it seems. All of that is common knowledge to anyone who has carried Spydercos for very long.

^ is that new policy for Spyderco? ?:confused:

I broke a couple clips (on a rescue and Police models) and they warrantied them free of charge.

just broke the bank and ordered a JAYJAYBRECONUK Patrol Yoke.

my current two (2) SORD-AUS Patrol webbing yokes are major kick ass next level awesome. But I wanted to step up the L.R.R.P.R. webbing rig to another bleeding edge level.

Yeah I’ve broke multiple clips in the past year. Three wire clips on dragonfly 2’s and one on my wharnie delica. I have strong options about the inferiority of the wire clips but the masses seem to like them. The seatbelt on my forklift eats them. Never had a problem with other companies supporting their products.

Spyderco also hiked their prices again recently. It’s driven the price of a plain delica up past $75. Persoanlly I don’t feel the delica is worth it at that price.

Goodies from Holtz arrived today. They sure don't mess around when it comes to packaging:

and being a bit of a cribbage nut, I couldn't resist this cool board made out of an old whiskey barrel:

Maxped phased these out a while back, but I was able to track one down - the R-7 Razorshell case. Great for traveling with a few knives:

Just ordered a pair of Salomon Jungle Ultra boots for summer.

Wore my Salomon Quest 4D 2 GTX (Goretex) boots with wool socks all summer last year. And the year before that.

Looking forward to having a lighter, breathable boot for this year.

620 square foot apt. The kitchen sink doubles as a parts washer for auto parts and chainsaw rebuilds

Know the feeling, we only have one sink so it does just about everything.

waiting the auto parts store to open in the AM:

my 25 year old Davidson Armored Truck Battery finally started not holding a full charge. That battery has been in my old 78 Bronco, , one car, and finally in the BushTruck (B2200) for the last 15 years. Even in the middle of - 30 C winter it would fire up the truck. Only holds 3/4 of a charge now and drains quickly when sitting.

So new battery in the Am, thinking of a dual battery setup, 0/0 gauge welding cables and heavy duty brass connectors. For the batts thinking 2 x Odyssey commercial truck batteries. Nothing like 1900 Cold Cranking Amps to make the headers ROAR! going to custom mount the batteries behind the bench seat, and add a fast plug in the grill for jump starting other vehicles.

might as well throw on a 200 amp PowerMaster alternator while i'm at it.

hello vacation pay, goodbye vacation pay.......LOL!

    Lol!

Factory battery was 950 CCA. The starter in that thing is huge.
