Yep what can I say...... I used all I learned from old WW2 POW films (mostly Hogan's Heros) plus my life experience and training. The first trick was to continually use the same spot there on the perimeter fence to smoke and just appear to be staring out into the world....sooner or later the guards in the towers stop seeing you, it's like yo become a part of the scenery, acknowledged but not seen. Then I made the cutting tool from the Red Cross care package, snap the tooth brush handle into two pieces and then coat a length of dental floss in tooth paste making a "garrote" like tool with the tooth bush pieces. You can then use it like a flex saw to slowly work through each link in the wire fence. I used my bootlaces to re-tie the chain links till I was ready to make my move.......damned if they were going to keep me from my Friday night drinks....screw the 'Rona !!
