    Will the Kydex be similar to the M18 style? Or full pancake?

    So how does the retention work? Does that black piece just rotate away?

    Yes it does rotate out of the way no good way to get a spot for retention. I will play around with it more to see what I can do.

    I have been intrigued by the cleaver :confused:,
    but not motivated to buy one. :oops:

    Yet this looks more effective than a 6 for my needs.

    Question: If I buy one of these, do I have to listen to Hank Williams Jr while I use it,
    or can I listen to my own choice of music? {No samples posted here, so relax.}

    I may have to wait for the production models later, but this looks good.

    How about having a two piece button riveted to the Kydex near the hole in the libtard. Like those soft loops for holsters. Just snap the two pieces together through the machete hole for secure holding. Sure it’s an extra step, but it’s optional and can be used for when it’s not in and out all the time.

    You should be listening to Hank daily anyway so nothing extra needed. ;)

    I understand @Stone and his intrigue with the cleaver. I find the theory of woods use with one an interesting idea. But when I saw this new little blade, all I could envision was how many kitchen knives I was about to replace with it.
