Beautifull sunny day so... lunch outside.
The path to my usual spot was completely overgrown so it was no fun getting there in my shorts.
Brought the Kelly Kettle, BK40 for food and Esee 5 for the wood processing.

Getting my Kettje on for fresh gingerroot tea and boiling some eggs for my sandwich

The water boiled super quick in the Kelly Kettle, now to cook the eggs for a while on the hobo stove addon

    Now ready to eat :)

    Lunch today.
Chicken and mixed veggies in spicy tomato-sauce.
    Cooked on a wood-stove
Not in the woods but on a riverbank because of the lack of rain here fpr weeks now.
Don't want to be that guy that burns down half the country.

So, my quiet spot with a nice view:

Ingredients and other stuff you need:
Chicken thigh filet chopped into smal parts (about 100g), red kidney beans (can 400g), tomato paste (can, 70g), olive oil, soy sauce, 1 small green pepper, 1 chily pepper, 2 slices of fresh ginger root, 1 small yellow onion, garlic, about 3 pieces. Dry wood, wood stove, stainless cooking-pan, some plates/bowl to put you chopped veggies on, fun knife (Esee 5), fun fire staring method (flint and steel with charcloth), a spork and some more dry wood... :D
    [IMG]

First filled my stove with wood and curls, ready to light it up. Then chopped all veggies into small chunks, kept the onion seperated from the rest to fry them first with the chicken.

Time to light the stove :D
    [IMG]

    We have flames, yay!

    Fry the chicken first
    [IMG]

Then onions, next the tomato-paste. make sure to heat that properly to get rid of the 'metallic' taste.

Add the chopped veggies and about a spoon of soy sauce, let that fry/cook a bit. Then ad the kidney bean, stir a lot and once they're warm it's time to eat :D
    [IMG]

But first put the kettle on to make some fresh ginger-root tea to go with this meal, it's too hot to eat immediately anyway :D

This is it all together, tasty and fun to make on a trip.

Been looking for the Junglas with skull to no avail but found a new 5 with the skull. Over here we trek with duku or golok machete always in our hand, so this 5 is a backup.

There’s a skull logo Junglas for sale on here in the for sale section. Not sure if it’s still available.

Yes it's sold. But shipping to this side of the world is illegally hazardous for my health.

This afternoon I had time again for some outdoors tea :)

I took and cut down the clip plate and mounted a tech lock, works great!
