LT Wright Bandit. AEB-L, 3 inch-ish blade, 7.5" oal, 2.5oz without sheath. This one has been on my radar for a while but seemed I missed them every time they were available. I really wasnt looking for another knife but it was there....

Little wet work with the Smith and Sons Shoal. This is my first AEB-L blade, did a great job and cleaned up nice. My fur handling skills need some work though ha ha ha. I was going to do a full face pelt but..... some of it was missing :( 55grn Vmax makes a bit of a mess sometimes.

I used to hunt quite a lot of yote 20 years ago or so with a few friends we just sold them on the dog. For wall hangers I normally just stretch, scrape and salt, keep pretty well if you don't get them wet. I have a raccoon I did with salt and wood ash about 6-8 years ago that has held up really well. I may actually try and soft tan this one with some solution Tandy leather used to sell... how bout you, any tips?

I’ve never attempted it in any fashion yet. I’ve been very tempted though. There’s some really pretty yotes and bobcats where I deer hunt now, they may push me further.

Been really enjoying the Mini Honey Badger from Faction Tools. Not really a “bush knife” per say, but does a decent amount of wildie-tasks pretty well. And easy as an edc. FF5F52D5-5563-432E-B9AC-ED542C95DCE2.jpeg

warm up the handle leather with a hairdryer and start rubbing Obenaufs or similar leather dressing into the leather , until it can't absorb any more. The leather will tighten up and look new
