Anybody using this phone software as a replacement for standalone GPS? I'm usually a map and compass kind of guy, but I figured it was about time to drift into the 21st century. So far my completely non-scientific testing has been positive. The offline mode seems to work well. I really like the public/private land border map layers and the live weather radar. It does seem to be a bit of a battery hog when you have all of that going on while tracking a route though.
