I do agree . Senseless destruction of tools that will never see that kind of abuse under normal use. but entertaining ya gotta love how far over the Darien machete curved before it gave out. Like a 65 deg bend
Love him or hate him you have to respect his work ethic. I see plenty of value in Joe's videos, especially for manufacturers. The man is hard to listen to, I find myself muting the volume and then fast forwarding through most of the video to get maximum knowledge for my time with less irritation. He has a pretty consistent routine for testing, maybe not "scientific" but better than than most and gives me a good baseline comparison, I was impressed how the Darien stood up considering it's purpose and light build, maybe I shouldn't use the spine to tighten up those fencing staples....... nah, I'll just use two lighter whacks
There's normally some skipping and playing in 2x speed but I enjoy them also. It's like watching a demolition derby
