The blade length seems to be right around 8 inches. Small Junglas or larger 6. Take your pick. Nice thing is that like the Expat cleaver, using the Junglas handles mean that Dale at The Knife Connection already has replacement handles in stock.

I've been saying for years I want a 6 with the Junglas handle. Great looking knife, I can't wait to try one.

What's the point? Looks like the handle would look dirty if you used it. :)

Does it have a hollow handle? Is it considered tactical? I will buy one if my friends like it.

I really like this so far. I do hope the handle is smaller than the Junglas personally. I feel like it would be a bit long for non chopping tasks. But who knows, maybe it'll be perfect. I guess I'll have to buy one more knife and find out.

I tend to agree with this, but if it is thinner stock it might be more manageable. I do like keeping the handle consistent across designs. Very nice for customization. 3/4 both original and HM, 5/6, Izula I/II, cleaver/junglas. It's a shame nothing else wears the laser strike handle. TKC LS is one of my favorites. That's one of my favorites to be sure. Secure and very easy to choke up on. If it is 6.5-8" I could go for a choil. I know people are mixed on this. The jungles is surely a hand full (literally not figuratively) for fine control. I don't have a cleaver yet.

I think @Jeff Randall is Ignoring us all :) I think he likes to mess with us real bad :)
But a SERIOUS note is i am pretty sure it was @Jeff Randall who said that no more product announcements until they are in production and ready to ship :) SO we could theoretically see this SOON? :)

Everything is the same as the regular Junglas except the blade is 2 inches shorter.

I don't get too excited about new knives, but if you have read my posts over the years, the Junglas goes with me about everywhere especially on the farm. This is going to be a tough blade to beat and the Junglas scales do well for me where the other flats do not.
