new Lodge

    A guy on another forum has one in use, 7 qt and about 14" diameter he says. That's way beyond what I need capacity wise., just a heads up to anyone looking at one...

    :eek: how small is a 2 quart? I have the 6 quart and its tiny...enough for 1 person meal.

    2 qt- 8 in across X 3 in deep. About 2 bowls of soup or stew, no leftovers.
    Vs
    5.5 qt- 10 in wide X 4.5 deep. About 4 bowls of soup or stew with 1 bowl leftover.

    i think i have a rare lodge dutch oven then,........mines marked 6 quart but it holds 2 bowls of stew
