That is a very versatile set up, any word on various sizes? I'm basically cooking for just 2, so I just ordered a 2 qt Dutch oven. I could see the utility if I can get one down in the 2-3 qt range.

After watching that I'm official hungry.

I for one see a need for a set of much longer hooks.

I really don't know if that is anymore versatile than a camp dutch oven but hey, it's cast iron. Who can resist?

My question is how they were cleaning it. He went straight from using the grill side to using the griddle side using a cut, while in reality you'd need to wash that surface unless you use aluminum foil or a barrier panel of some sort to keep it clean from ash/soot.

I dunno 42, some of the unconverted heathens we've got around here are known for throwing cow directly on the coals ( ahem @bearthedog koff koff :D ) and then cutting it up on a rock. They might consider getting to use a iron cook surface a step up in the evolutionary cycle!

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking^ Either he didn't care, or he just wiped the ash off with a rag.

I see more and more people just cooking right on the coals, though. Not sure I could get used to that....

I think since it was a high-budget promotional video they either fully washed it or had a fresh one ready to go for shooting that segment. You'll notice that there's a convenient cut transition at that point. :D

I just like giving the boss dudes grief. ;). I've done a few with 4 green sticks to "capture/pin" them in a "cage"... But then again I eat mine in near raw form anyway. :D

If we can ever get an Expat gathering together, cook offs will be a substantial part of the events

So has anyone bought a Cook-It-All yet?

I doubt we’ll see these in Canada any time soon...:(
