Dirk Gently. A BBC america production, based on the books by douglas adams. Its weird, and its fantastic. Also filmed in vancouver. White rabbit and The OA also seem promising, but I havnt watched much of them yet.
That show was hilarious for the first few seasons. After that it was way too awkward. It's like they were trying too hard. We stopped watching after a few seasons but can't remember which number.
I just watched the whole first (and only) season of The Last Kingdom. I stumbled across it looking to start Vikings and was not disappointed. 8 hours later here I am waiting for season 2. Not as good as Game of Thrones but certainly kept me interested enough to kill my day with it.
We started 'frontier' last night. Not sure if that amazon or netflix. Can't tell you how good it is because i went to bed. Seemed ok from what i saw.
Dirk Gently is good. I watched the white rabbit with the kids and was ah, IDK. It was kind of like watching Nolan Ryan play catch with David Ortiz. You are going to watch, it is cool, it just is not very satisfying.
Yeah, I fizzled out on White rabbit. The OA is pretty good though. Not quite the same levels of Stranger things but its certainly well done.
I'm actually (re)watching an episode right now. Also, they have both his No Reservations series and his original show, A Cook's Tour.
Actually, it looks like they no longer have No Reservations or the Layover, which I had forgotten about and never got the chance to watch much of.
