I need to go back and listen to some posted tracks that I haven't yet -- although I am sampling almost all; and loving a lot of it. Late nights, after work, it's great to come "in here" and play music; I get lost on musical journeys. (That's really the only part I miss about living on the west coast -- where I left in 2010 to move here (no regrets) -- in Portland OR, where I was last, on several nights of the week all year, you could go somewhere in town to hear world-class music of every genre.) Here -- small town N Maine -- I can't get that. Even Bangor, closest city to me, sucks for music. (Portland is hours south.) On a related note, this thread (and others, but this one especially) are helping me stay just a little bit more sane than I would be otherwise. As some here know, I live (and have a home studio) in a s##t-hole apartment building. The building itself is nice, but the social dynamic in it literally drives me crazy. It's Peyton Place meets One Flew Over the Coo-coo's Nest with a side of hospice; Jack Nicholson's character lives next door. My biggest goal is life right now is to get out of it, but that's going to take another few months -- I'm stuck here for winter. Hmm. There must be a song that speaks to my predicament. I'll see if I can dig one up later. Any way, being able to come here, put on a set of studio headphones (Sony MDR 7506 for me -- best ever), imbibe a cold one or three, and just kick back with some 'chunes is great. So, thanks.
Here ya go. Never heard of them, but like it already. BTW, to do this, simply go to the video (youtube or where ever), right click on it, select "copy video URL at current time" (or something similar), then just paste it right into the post edit box. It should display automatically when you hit save.
This is great. Who's the lead vocalist? I'm an instant fan, added to a long list of my fav female vocalists.
classic metal band WASP , with a lil Betty Boop and Mickey Mouse thrown in . PLAY IT LOUD on some Marshal Stacks! aka "the darker side of Disney artists"
Remind me, please: who's the guitar player with the double neck guitar? The one that rips it a new one after the line, "You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave." Reminds me of this forum. I am just a drummer.
