It's worth a watch. I own the DVD. Not a big M Gibson fan in general, but a big fan of historical fiction of the middle ages and beyond, so this was a given for me. Convincing performances mostly.

It is very good. About as historically accurate as Hagar the horrible is to vikings, but still a very good movie.

You know, he's right: we've been neglecting bacon, spam and mutton. Need to remedy that with some foodie threads.

"..too much meat" is a subjective measure, but for everything I'd use a Laser Strike, the modification you showed seems fine. I mod damn near every knife I get to suit my needs. I want my knives to feel as comfortable in my hands as my own pecker (although modding a factory knife can prove challenging to sell it later because, you know, some people are not comfortable holding someone else's pecker :) ).

So hack away, Hack. I have faith in Rowen heat treat, ESEE knives are as thick skinned as the forum members here. Notice that I said heat treat. You can remove the steel, but do not let it jeopardize the heat treat. Go slow, never let the steel get too hot to touch. Cool it off with cold wet towel every now and then. Good luck.
