Agreed, there is a place for Aus8, 12C27 (blade of my trusty Boker+ Tech Tool) and all those ‘bottom’ dwellers on the scale!

D2 i’ll park to one side as it is the unfortunate thorn in the side of my position on the Medellin!

People ask why they made it in Aus8 and I reply, confidently. Then they say but they made the Avispa and Zancudo in D2 and they didn’t break the bank........

That’s when I fall over and pretend to bump my head!

Just make the next knife in CPM-125V and call it a day. Oh, and also only charge us AUS-8 pricing

I have a limit on steels that I use. And that limit is 4 spaces. 1095 fits. Aus8 fits. Anything longer than 4 letters or numbers is not even considered.

It’s like people that order a venti two pump half caf no whip Carmel macchiato.

It’s steel. For cutting crap. It’s not a space shuttle or a cancer curing drug.

I find it so funny people worry about what steel their knife is but not what steel their car has, or their screwdriver, or their grill, or what’s in the toe of their boot.

I’m convinced the industry would be better off if people spent their steel learning time on sharpening learning instead.

Listen @Expat, you can rag on us as much as you want in ignorance. I know for a FACT that all the metal parts in my car are made of metal. I would even go so far as to say that ALL of the non-metal parts are made from non-metal ingredients. So it does matter.

Crap. I just checked my shoes, and it turns out the toe is made of dead cow parts, not dead metal parts.

That’s not actually steel. Or metal. That’s the “secret” to that recipe. And since no one actually uses them, the secret is safe.

Dead Metal Parts would be a great band name.

Aside of how good a knife she has been, the camera loves her too!

@Expat Feel like dropping any more hints on a possible smaller version of the Medellin? A 2.875" blade and 6.5" overall length would be a great seller for you guys I think! Or is this going to be as elusive as the Izula folder???

You sure you don't want an ORANGE one???

I'd probably go with black as well.
