Light Weight Gear Options

    So far everyone I talked to and listened to said that once they went to a quilt they have not returned to a traditional sleeping bag. I’m still doing so research on them but enlightened seems to be the nicest. I definitely need one that attaches to the pad, I’m a crazy sleeper.

    @Hammer do you have any experience with hammock gear. I was looking at their economy burrow quilt. Looks really nice for only $200.

    I had one of their 3/4 quilts a few years back, when I was going through a hammock phase. It was nice, well made and very light. I ended up passing it on to BlueDogScout - he may have more input on it.

    Haha...didn't I sell that Hammock Gear quilt to you a while back? Or maybe that was someone else? I might be suffering from CRS...

    Check out “Jacks R Better” too for quilts. I like that it can be made into great coat mode like the HPG serape. And the hood is nice for sleeping in. Way more comfy than a wool or down hat. Looks goofy my wife will say but i dont care.
