Honestly, both my standard 3 and 3hm get taken with me more than any other knife when heading out into the backcountry. I’ve used a lot of ESEEs different designs, and really like quite a few of them, but the 3’s really just work for me, my environment, and my needs more than any of the others.
The 3HM handle feels like it was made for my xl hand, a great fit. It's full grip is very comfortable, so much so that I may have to let my 4-3d go.
This bad boy will arrive on Friday, just in time for the weekend. I will still search for a new kydex, as the old one got a bit loose.
Here's my two. When I got the stainless I swapped out the LMF scales from my OD 3, then put the new 3D scales on the OD3. The LMFs are a little more hand-filling but there are no stinkers here. I really like the black 3D scales on the OD 3.
It's perfect. Excellent retention and very comfortable to carry it, even when driving. I will order more things from this guy.
3 shown in the advertisement for another company. I don't like where it's positioned, but nice that it's recognized, https://soldiersystems.net/2020/10/...dular-holster-adapter-isnt-just-for-holsters/
Yup, I def wouldn't put it there, with or without a fire arm. I don't like having my knife on my load bearing belt anyway.
