It’s probably my most carried knife since I bought it from @Hammer. The blade shape is so ideal for just about anything I’d want a small fixie for and my only complaint with the regular was the handle too small for me.
It just works so well for so many things, from cutting food to getting some blood and slime on it. Mine has been a constant EDC since I got it. Need to get some fancy G10 for it.
I never tried the stock micarta scales so I don’t wanna discount them, but the G10 TKC’s really transformed this knife for me vs just using a paracord wrap on the handle. I’ve become a big TKC scale fan over the years and will say they make the biggest difference to me on the Iz2 and the LS.
They're not bad, just a bit blocky. TKC made a huge difference on the 6, I'm sure it will be the same with the Izzy2.
The TKC’s I currently have on my 5 started out on the 6-CP I sold, they really did change the feel of both models for the better.
My izula ii is still my all time daily. They just work. I take a break from the forum here and there but I never stop carrying my esee lol. I've had a few ppl ask where to buy an izula like mine this past week. I've steered them in the direction and told em they wouldn't look back lol.
I knew prior to purchase it would be too small for me but I got the TKC extended scales to make it a 2 & it’s just the best edc I’ve ever had. It’s capable of doing fine detail or delicate cuts while it’s.156” stock is strong enough to rip through radiator hose or whatever you need. I just love the Izula and I want more in different colors and one In S35VN.
