No prob. If you're looking to condition leather, I highly recommend Obenauf's LP. It doesn't totally water proof like Sno-Seal or pure bees wax, but it does wonders for conditioning leather.

It's a mix of bees wax and propolis, and you just rub it in with your fingers.

Any chance you could do a thread on how to do the Paracord overstrike wrap? I've wanted to learn but all I can find are how to vids on much more complicated wraps.

Copied a Randall Made design but it ended up not working like i planned and eventually cut the snap off and made it look like i wanted a hole in the sheath. Lessons.

3508E6DD-F9EC-4F87-B7AB-D68842235B2C.jpeg Had to cut off the snap on the above sheath. Randall has some magic snaps that dont have a base. Mine have a base and it was SCORING the heck out of the brass hilt. Cut it off and tried to hide the hole for the snap. Truth in advertising.

    Edit: forgot the picture.

@Strigidae you should have punched holes in the center of the others as a design element.

My new leather forging apron is officially underway! Very excited to see what comes from it, especially since I've never done something like this before. It'll be better than the Tilman apron I've been using, but since I'm not making it myself I have no idea how well my ideas will translate over to the guy doing the work. Nervous!

Anyone have a source for large solid-brass grommets like this? Wouldn't have to be that large, but anything bigger than the 5/8" ID that Tandy sells would be good.

No idea. Are they solid brass? Are small lots available? I found some that had a 13/16" ID, but they only sold in lots of 100 or better.

Gotta be bigger than that. Prefer something around 3/4" - 1" ID. I don't think they need to be that large a hole, but it'll look better if the thing is 3/4" or 7/8". Might have to go with the standard stuff if I can't find them in solid brass, though.
