She's our corso. She is a good dog, but will not wear my whitehat.

LOVE this knife man. Would love to have one Moded similar to this one some day. Do you do this kind of work for others ? I have 2 LS & one is serial #15 still unused that I'd like to do something to

While I really like the blade profile on the LS, I never could get comfy with the handle. Off to the grinder and.....ta da! Introducing the Laser Strike HM

I know this is likely sacrilege to LS enthusiasts, but I'm a whole lot happier!

You neutered it!!!! Hell if it works for you man then go for it. The work looks clean as if the knife came that way. Good job.

I'm for doing anything that makes a knife usable for someone. I'm a choil-whore and will eventually put them on my Junglas and 5 when I work up the nerve. But your's looks awesome !

Dude, that is awesome! I love the bladeshape on the LS, but the handle has always kept me from buying one. I don't like handles that force your hand into a certain position. I like to be able to choke up or down on a knife handle.

You'd like this one. I also moved the belly of the handle forward to balance it out better. It feels awesome. It was just awkward for me before. Either my hand felt too far back if I didn't use the choil, or using the choil locked me into a position that wasn't always comfortable. At 57 with degenerative arthritis, if it ain't comfy it ain't getting used. The good news is that the kydex sheath was easy to modify with a heat gun. Fits like it was made that way.

Why not....blade length restrictions? It's about the largest I can carry iwb and draw comfortably.

12 hrs at a non knife friendly job doesn't leave much time for normal carry.

I can definitely understand that! Our parent company has that policy. But hardheaded as I am my direct boss gave me a pass and said if I cut myself it "happened at home". I go too far out in nasty environments to not have a blade or two. Most of our office personnel are starting to get pissed they can't use machetes to clear vegetation around our boardwalks anymore and the wasp stings are on the rise also. I sneak my Junglas along when I'm with someone I trust and keep our sites groomed. If I were in a construction zone or another area directly supervised by our parent company I wouldn't try to get away with what I do.

TKC handles are probably next for mine, but first I need to get ride of that coating. How were you able to strip it from your knife?
