    All ESEE Knives will now ship with only the ESEE knives logo on them. No more camplore. No more RAT logo. ESEE 5 and laserstrike as an example for the RAT logo.

    Yes. Been shipping this way since mid January on most of them. Also, no more uncoated blades (except for stainless). Anything that was previously uncoated now has a black oxide finish.

    Actually we discontinued the uncoated knives except for CampLore series. I've got a sample of an ESEE-4 with black oxide. Not sure if we're going to do it yet on the 3/4 line. With that said, sometime in the near future Shane is going to be giving that sample away on our Facebook page. It's the only one in existence right now.

    I personally like the black oxide 3 and 4 better than any coating or lack of coating we've made in the past.

    I like it a lot more than the coating. The coating is nice for protection, but it also adds thickness, which I'm assuming the black oxide doesn't.
