    I did the same with my 5 and my 3-cp, has helped a lot to avoid under handle corrosion

    Not quite done yet, but getting there. I need to hit it with some OOOO steel wool and oil everything down. Once my edge work is complete, then I'll be done!

    The pictures suck. Taken on an ipad and it's sundown already.

    Man that thing came out nice!!! Did you use white vinegar?

    I remember the last forced patina I put on mine looked so good I didn't want to beat on it. Now it looks like I live in "don't give a damn mode"with using it at work. Swamp vegetation makes some crazy patina effects.

    Yeah, cutting any kind of brush or soft green vegetation in general will just plaster your blade with plant juice, which does create a cool patina pattern!
