    I like both, when they are properly textured. Both can be grippy or slippery. Texture is everything.

    I picked up a new ESEE 6 a while back,
    with ESEE 3D Handles in G10. They seem grippy enough.

    That’s been my main reason for liking it a bit more than other options.

    I like how TKC have finished their micarta handle for the 6 (same is available for J1/2). It doesn't seem to absorb water or probably dries very fast, don't know.

    I'll explain what triggered this sudden collapse of will power when it arrives.

    Off to go try and find my old Sharpshooter Baldric Rig now.

    Nice! Spring is coming, the J2 will be a trusted companion, I'm sure. Mine will see some MTB trail clearing very soon.
