SOE small tool bag.
Will see what I can do. Helping my mother in law with a house today.
Lovin this knife...
So the JG5 is wonderful. I’ve been rocking it the last month or so with the armatus sheath as a dangler. (He did a very nice job making a dangler) the only issue is it had been getting wet in the sheath from rain and as a result rusty a time or two. I cleaned it up each time no big deal. Now unlike my other black oxide knives when this thing gets wet the metal stinks. I can’t stand it so a few weeks ago I stripped off the black oxide. Well the kydex retains water like a spong and boom more rust. So I decided to try for the first time ever (this was last weekend) the vinegar forced patina. I’ve been out working the farm all morning with the rain pouring down and the JG5 firmly mounted to my hip. I came in just a bit ago. Pulled the knife out and it was soaked. No rust though. I’m impressed... I figured @STPNWLF would like the color lol
(Still have the odor but not as pungent, dunno what that’s about. My PR4 and CR2.5 haven’t had the stench)
Love the pipe
Thanks! It's a Peterson (out of Dublin) the Sherlock Holmes Professor if I remember Correctly. Awesome pipe for sure!
Parts to a Paiute deadfall
parts to a pebble deadfall
Spoke well of the dangler then it breaks lol
That sucks. Things break sometimes. Ill bet you will get taken care of.
I will lol
Probably due to the orange kydex
I heard that orange kydex wasn't as sturdy as the black kydex
I thought you would like that
You are the man
Ok, I get it now!
Great knife! Looking forwards to getting out in the bush for a week to put it through its paces!
Lighter than i thought it would be. Did you think it would be heavier?
I did and I expected to be less manoeuvrable than the PR4 but the contoured grip makes all the difference!
I'm impressed! Just need to get it out and give it some hammer!
