Just from the pics in this thread it does seem to have a high grind angle thus not being blunt and being more of a slicer/carver.

Not true but just not the same but very understandable as to why since there were people that did dish it out but couldn't hack it due to their own eggshells. Jeff gave a lot of space and give yet people screwed it up.
Agreed....not the same and won't be...until people buy into the direction and vision that Jeff expressed to the Admin team on what we want this place to be...many hands make light work, especially when we are all pulling the same direction. Our desire is for this forum to be a resource for people that want to get out and learn, that want to gain knowledge and improve upon their skills, and to share their experiences, lessons, mistakes and lessons learned...the sooner everyone grasps that vision the better it becomes for all.....the other option is that it goes away bc it's a helluva lot of work for very few people that do it for free.
Deal, I don’t have much of a life and anything I can do to support the ESEE team I will! Sadly I don’t think so. Logistically we have a lot going on. To show good faith to the ESEE forum we pushed for the group but knife. We also had the JG5 deal going with smoky mountain knife works. So far both have been huge successes. We just realeased the izulaII in black oxide and will continue to realeased the line in that finish. We also have a lot of great new items realeased at blade show and the training side of things. The one thing we always want to guarantee is the highest quality to you our faithful customers. We want everything to be right and you to be happy. Until we know that is the case we will not rush a release just to make a dollar. Trust me it is worth the wait not just for the James Gibson carving axe and pinch but also for all the great things in the pipeline. (How did I do @shaneadams90 ???) I hope I haven’t made things worse. I like to be light hearted, jovial and provide as much as I can. I truly love this forum and the brand. I wish I could add more content by this fall. (Health wise right now I can’t do the heat) If I have crossed any lines please tell me. It would not have been intentional and I’ll make sure to prevent it from happening again.
