For some reason, I thought that snakes had already been ruled out.

One fear I have is snakes.....I’m slowly getting over it. When I see them I try to take it slow and pick them up and not be freaked out. But I have to admit if there around my house it usually ends in a head getting chopped off. I live in MA and we have a huge reservoir and there’s this one island they wanted to bring up all these rattelers and different species of venomous snakes to re populate them. So glad that got voted down. That’s the last thing I want up here

This is interesting. I know I read somewhere that some snake venom have a protein that's being used for possible treatment Alzheimer's disease as well as others. Chinese snakes aren't good for very much I'm sure.

I'm just glad that none of the child laborers at the Esee factory in China have been affected, so we can still get our new models. :p

.....my friend....never vacation in Australia !!!

....yep.... pulled the cover off my dirt bike last weekend to get it ready to take bush this weekend only to discover that a Red Belly had taken up residence in the crate on the back (and had been there for sometime by the crap)..... needless to say there was some dancing and swearing when I discovered this..... didn't even have a chance to grab my snake shovel before he/she made off into the bush across the road.

First timber rattler I ever saw was in Massachusetts out hiking in the Berkshires;) Remember snakes eat alot of mice one of the key species in spreading lyme disease in New England, which scares me way more than a snake!

@Andy the Aussie hey I’m getting better with them. Practice makes perfect or some crap. I’ll take a gator or a lion over a freaking snake.
@Backwoods Runner well I have never seen them here thank god
I need to get over that fear
