I don't think I have ever heard which Esee knife do you like the best or carry.

Last time I talked to @Mike Perrin he was still carrying that double edged given to him right before the Alamo fell. Knife is rusty but in good working order.

That is the other secret prototype discussed with Ted Nugent in a Las Vegas hotel room.

I am still waiting on the Izula folder. Until then my EDC is a 17 year old Sebenza.))

Hopefully that Sebenza has another 17 years in it.

It probably will if he's waiting for the Izula folder.

The folders Chris Reeve built were / are the industry standard for quality. Every knife maker that makes a folder has the memory of Reeve folders coming away from Blade Show with top quality awards for many, many years. This Sebenza has been used HARD for a long time and it still folds did center , has zero play blade to frame and functions like a new knife. In my humble opinion they are still the best folders in the market for quality and durability. If we can produce an American made folder on par with this then we have done something well.))

I bet he still has his childhood knife, you know, before the Bronze Age.

Yep, that's it alright. I found that same knife showing the reverse. All doubts removed. ESEE's mark of the beast revealed:

Mike, do you take the sebenza apart for cleaning and lube and if so how often?

I have never taken the Sebenza apart. I sharpen it and oil the pivot every now and then.
