I got an update this morning that he said he's going to ahead and refund the order that I disputed (the 0620 only) because paypal pushes them for resolution quickly and doesn't want to wait for shipment.... but that he see's I placed the second order for the second 0620 and recon 1 and that this order will be shipping as normal... I'm not going to hold my breathe... but that's where we're at right now. he's been polite and cordial, just get a "yucky" feeling from it overall. I'll keep ya'll updated...
Still no updates on my order, but I haven't tried contacting him at all. I ordered (2) ZT 0620's, and (1) Recon-1.
I would say to go ahead and hold off for a bit if you want the knife. You can dispute up to 6 months later on paypal, so I wouldn't be worried about it, i was just hoping to push him a little. We'll see if I actually get my other order. The way he talked make it sound like they were waiting on a shipment or something and a bunch of orders are getting ready to go out...
I JUST RECEIVED TRACKING! I'll let you know how it looks when the package arrives. Anyone know if they make Chinese knock offs of the 0620 and how to identify them if so? I suppose I can go browse aliexpress and see what i can find.
Thanks man. I found that one, too. If that's the case, it's super easy to decipher since mine should have a DLC blade. I found a few knockoffs of the 0620CF too, but again, that's not what I got. Soo... we'll see what's up!

A couple things to note if/when you receive your 0620. This image is direct from KAI USA, so it should represent the real deal. You can note slight curve of the leading edge of the tanto, and also the "case" of the Serial #. The few counterfeit 0620CFs that have been reported have a perfectly straight point (no curve), and some were reported to use "Ser.XXXX" instead of "SER.XXXX" I don't know how much credence there is in the Serial "case" difference, since both my 0550BLK and 0566BW are all UPPPERCASE, and my 0560bw is not. But, at least take note of the profile of the tanto point once you receive it.

Why? It's not like there's a ton of risk involved. There's no place else that you're going to get some of these blades for the price being offered. I'm still in communication with them. I have actually encouraged him to join our forum here to show that he's legit. I feel a bit more comfortable with the situation now that I have tracking. If everything turns out good once it arrives, I'll probably place another order of the discount is still good. I don't mind waiting a couple of weeks for the order at that price. It seems like an early start up trying to get their feet on the ground.
Yeah, he assured me that these are all US Made and he will get my order shipped this week. He has responded to my e-mails but initially was a hassle and I almost filed with PP. Sorry, left off the smiley from prior post.
