I changed from using the rough side to the smooth side up on all strops. The reason is I have came up with a method I use on the smooth side to take on compounds and be more consistent, after the smooth side has been treated it has a even layout, the leather feels and looks like the fine suede with a napped finish. Random question but do you fear that will hurt your brand identity having the XXX on the strops but not using them in your name and on the website?
The reason we changed the triple x on our website is that some browsers will not take it or the browser will block our site. So far it has not caused any issues
