Saw this on another forum and thought it was cool! So what have been some of your favorite knives of 2016?

Tough field for me to narrow down but I think these are my top 4!

I haven't been buying many knives like I was in the past. Money is a little tight this year but I also feel like I have become wiser to what I really need and like.
It should always be known without saying that the ESEE6 is my favorite knife. It is perfect for me.
As for the other knives in my immediate stable there are three that came on board in 2016 for me.
    Fiddleback Forge 12" machete
T.M.Hunt Foxkit. (EDC w/ SAK Farmer)
    Sargent Knives Scandi

I'll get pics up later today or tomorrow. Depends on my work hours.

Will have to update with pictures, but my favorites in no particular order have been my W.A. Surls Patch, Fiddleback Sylverfalcen, and my CRK LG CF Insingo.

Now having multiples of a knife myself I have to ask you this. Do you use all of them or keep one as a user/abuser and have the rest as backups? I have 2 of the CPK Field Knife and one is a backup to my user.

They all get some use. The DT gets more aggressive use in the woods and is with me most every time. The idea was as backups but i cant help myself in using (usually butchering deer or goats) or carrying them. The green one is #0003. Still gets carried and used just not rough use.

Case sodbuster Jr. carbon steel. It disappeared from a slick dress pants pocket. I miss it.

O456 and 0562 are my faves for this year. Fixed blades are all of my TM Hunt knives. I love them all the same. :)

I'd have to say my Junglas and Izzy combo are my favorites, just due to the way I acquired them.

It was an epic and memorable adventure to get those; it wasn't as easy as just buying them, so they are more cherished and special to me.

Honorable mentions for my favorite folders: Ritter M390 Grip, ZT0550BLK v3, CKF Daboia and Spartan Akribis. My ZT 0180 and Olamic Necker fixed blades are pretty damn sweet, too. It's hard to have one favorite. :D

I have bought, sold, traded for, and traded away, knives of all sorts in 2016. I have owned Buck, DPX, ZT, Lionsteel, and many others this year. They are all gone. My Spyderco knive make up a majority of the EDC stable at this time. If I had to pick 4 that are my favorites at the time:

The Spyderco Dragonfly II in zdp-189 has been on this list for years.
The Spyderco Southard earned a spot on the list in 2016.
My Umnumzaan has not been out of the pocket since I got it back in early October.
I have become fond of my Northwoods jack of some sort. It had the wharncliffish blade and cocobolo scales.
