cold water immersion survival skills.
Yes indeed!!!! With how much I work on a river that carries cold water south from snow melt is love this one!
How to survive a camping trip when you discover your whisky flask is empty.
I can't see a way out of that to be honest. Maybe Esee can crack it.
If you only pack a flask worth of whisky then don't go camping.
I would love to see some outdoor cooking videos.
Some outdoor cooking videos would be good. It would also be nice to link knife use to other sports like, fishing, hunting or rappelling. Some videos on one of the Esee trips to the jungle would be epic too.
Wouldn’t mind seeing a few trapping videos also. Primitive and modern.
We are actively working on improving the sound quality of our videos....we shoot all our videos on an iPhone 7 using a DJI Osmo Mobile gimbal with a Shure MV88 Shotgun mic....Post production is done with iMovie and I have finally learned how to enhance certain audio to improve quality.
we are pushing the envelope of what is capable with the equipment we have and I hope to upgrade soon. When we do that we will address sound quality by adding a better shotgun mic and also a Lav mic as well.
Bring a buddy that doesn't drink as much and can carry MORE whiskey.
I normally go backpacking with the wife. She drinks more than I do.
Thanks for the work on getting these together and adding them to the content here! It really is a cool addition.
Happy to do it. Plus Jeff told me I had too! Lol.
He's become quite the prima donna! Hard to deal with...demanding.....insisting that we use Name Brand SPAM now....the whole smash..... Actually, he's a great guy to work with and I want to do my part to make him famous!
Good one to add to the list....Patrick does some cool knot-like things in our Advanced Survival Kit video....
@shaneadams90 can we post our ESEE videos in this sub forum too or is it for official videos from ESEE only?
given that this is the ESEE/RAT Video thread lets keep THIS thread to the title content....I will create another sub heading called "Forum Member Videos" right after posting this...
just an idea, but I"m wondering if separate threads for each of the ESEE knives would be a good idea? So that people who are interested in, let's say and ESEE 6 could see all the member videos on the ESEE 6 in one place. Just an idea.
