    The tradition continues.

    How it works:

    1. Pm me your adress
    2. Write a little blurb about yourself, or a little wishlist and post it here.
    3. When you see sombody to send a gift to pm me your selection and I'll give you their adress.
    4. Sombody chooses you, and I give them your adress.
    5. Selections wrap up around the 12th, and I tie up any loose strings and send out adresses.
    6. You all ship around the 14th, in time for christmas.
    7. Post pictures of the cool stuff you got.

Answers to questions that sombody will ask:

    - Yes you can send used things, infact Its encouraged. You don't have to go out and spend money. You can send handmade things, or used gear that you dont use anymore.

    - No there is not a dollar limit in either direction. Though if you want a point of referance in the past I would say most people approach $40, some exceed it. Keep in mind this is not an expectation. 90% of things are used, found, or made. You are not expect to go out and spend any amount of money (except for shipping).

-I dont know, have you tried pming expat? The itching should have stopped by now.

    - People outside of the US can enter. If you live outside of the US make a note in your post if its not in your profile. If you really don't want to ship outside of the US I suggest you pick sombody to send to sooner rather then later.

    - If you have any questions for a possible giftee I can forward them anonymously.

Due date: Closes on the 10th.

This is always an epic event here!! I think The Lobster should get a little something extra from Santa for organizing this every year!

    im in like flynn.

i really want from Esee Santa some YOYO Mechanical Reels, so i can add them to my emergency kit . Someday i may need to set a bunch of setlines and catch fish, the YOYO Reels are the hot ticket for that.

The LOBSTER has been organizing this Esee Christmas for like three plus years now........

I heard from a woodland creature on my recent hike, that the Lobster REALLY REALLY wants a Flat bottom (no legs) Cast Iron Dutch oven with lid for Christmas this year! ..

    ;)

    I'm also in of course.

I don't really have much specific in mind. If you think something is pretty cool, I will likley think its pretty cool aswell.

I make and refinish the odd knife. Cool handle materians would find a place. If you have anything with a broken tip, cracked handle, or sad malady, I would be happy to rehabilitate it and improve its outlook on life.

I've found myself drawn towards simple low profile pocket knives latley. Something like a Higonokami, Mercater k55k, sodbuster, or pretty much anything in the same line (I do have an opinel). Not too picky on that though, since I also like pretty much all spyderco's (own delica, tenacious, poliwog).

I do quite a bit of cooking, maybe spices, recipies, a pairing knife.... lutefisk.

    Edit: Thought of things.
Leather sheath that fits a Mora Classic.
US surplus wool trigger finger mittens (medium).
Beads for Lanyards... or beaded lanyards.

    I'm in for this! :)

I've helped run Secret Santa exchanges on a few other forums and at work - always a good time hunting/stalking your "giftee"

    I'm a big fan of:

    - Sharp things
    - Bright things
    - Hot things (fire and spice)
    - Loud things (guns and music/guitar)
    - Swag things (ESEE gear, stickers, patches etc.)
    - Truck things (Toyota)
    - Tool things
    - Meat things
    - Warm/Dry things (it gets cold and wet here in the PNW)

Thanks for organizing this @ArguableLobster! I was wondering if you guys had any traditions like this, and was going to suggest it, if not. ;)

I am in. This has always been a memorable experience for me (sometimes good and sometimes bad), but I really like the format. I have received a gift worth $100 from a very generous member and once I got a box of used junk that was worthless and thrown away. Used is good if taken care of.

I definitely most like the giving aspect. Please consider participating it can be very fun and rewarding at the same time.

My primary interests are sharpening, food prep, outdoor reading, fire and axes. That should offer something to work with.

Big THANK YOU to @ArguableLobster .

    I like things that:
    Cut
    Chop
    Burn
    Spark
    Sharpen
    Cook
    Patches and stickers

Only thing I can really think of specifically is one of the small mors bushpots (not the big one) without a bail.

    I'm in.

I don't really have anything in particular I'm looking for. I don't spend a ton of time outside anymore but I'm looking to change that this year.

I already know what I will be shipping to some lucky member this year. Just need to find the right box...

    Edit.

I'm interested in SAKs, fire making stuff, flashlights. Cooking items.

I'm in, I like just about anything,
Sharp pointy objects, bushcraft and self defense types.
    Bright shining objects,
    Things that go boom,
ESEE accessories (need some TKC scales for my 6)
Been looking at ESEE 6&3 scales for my ZT 562, was looking at the anso pattern in a neutral drab color
Been looking for a low profile neck knife, or a karambit style as well.

Will be choosing someone off the list, have something in mind already to send I think someone will really like.

This sounds like a good idea. I'm in! It's nice to get into the spirit of the holidays.

I'm like most on here I would assume. Knives, outdoor gear, swag, pretty much all the things this site is about.
