    1 Vote for left BUT if it is the difference between having one or not then either side is ok.
    BUT a def no vote on both sides....

    I also agree with MMBackPacker I would love a option in canvas :)

    Left side or none at all. Thumb scallop would be nice to have but not absolutely necessary. Like a previous poster said, some wood would be nice. Hell if you guys were to square up the back of the slab of wood where it contacts the tang, drill the holes and cut the countersink, I'd be on that like Oprah on a baked ham.

    Hard to say without knowing your planned tweaks to the overall geometry. Not sure if a divot would work too well on the rounded contours of the stock handles. Scallops? Meh...

    To be honest, it would be a challenge to improve upon the ergos on my 4HM. Different texturing and cosmetics will add some welcome variety though. Maybe add a mild forward ridge, bump or swell that would assist a solid seating in a kydex sheath?
