That middle LS is the bomb in Warrior's rendering. I'd be all over that.

Thanks man. It's the same as a regular LS, without the choil.

Exactly. Simple change that would radically improve the knife. The choil is exactly where I don't want it.

You have to pull that blade edge up. So it is in line with the handle. All one smooth line. To capture the original kephart styling.

EDIT: Misread what you said. That would work. Done on this rendering though, haha.

Why not buy an ESEE and mod it yourself into a kephart design? As far as tools go, you just need a Dremel.

"Release" release or like "DC6 and Izula folder" release?

I would be more inclined to start with some blade steel than a finished knife. I buy a knife because I dont want to build it myself.

I mean if it's a choice between making a kephart out of an ESEE knife and waiting until ESEE comes up with a kephart knife, I order the knife and dust off my Dremel. But that's just me, I'm almost never fully happy with any mass produced blade, so I kinda expect them to be "project material". The only knives I don't mod are the knives I'm planning to resell later.

The newer rounded handles such as on the ESEE 3/4 HM would do this justice in the Kephart tradition.

Folks we have learned the hard way that "plans" don't always match reality.)) Going forward we will only announce what is shipping.
The Rollins knife is still in the works but I won't step out on that ledge and say when.
