Ha ha! A dead flower. Its morphed into what it is over several sheaths for me. Sign of fall and my favorite season. And nope my shingle has been taken down. Just work for family and myself if i have to. Lol
Just got my 6hm in the mail Wow !.... This 6HM is my perfect knife,,Perfect size... I liked the Esee 6 blade, but hated the choil and the added length of the choil section 6hm fits my hand perfect. Great feel , perfect balance, great blade profile, perfect size ! I like the leather sheath also , and Ill be using it as is for carrying on hikes. Knife fits snug in the sheath. This is a plus One of my first reactions was , I gotta buy another one. I like it so much I gotta have two...
Still anxiously awaiting mine. Thanks post office for the 5 day (at best) delivery time from Ohio to Massachusetts.
Anyone else compare the weight of a 6 vs. the 6HM? My standard 6 has TKC G10 on it so it's not a true comparison, but it's weighing 12.6 oz and my 6HM is only 10.8 oz.
I never said I used it a lot and the video wasn't a hard use review. Just thought I'd share some thoughts on the handles for anyone who's interested, possibly trying to decide between the two. It's true it hasn't seen much love, too many other knives I guess. I usually baton with my BK9, Junglas, or Trailmaster and even then BK2. I still love the 6. If I had to pick one knife for a bugout or walkabout, I'd go with the 6. But when I want to do bushcraft I reach for my smaller bushcraft knives and when I need to baton, I go with the big boys. But thanks for reminding me to show it some more love.
